6 Days Left to JSS.net Launch

It's Saturday morning and I'm spending some family time at home with the boys. The weeks have been long leading up to the launch but we anticipate it to be well worth it. I'm sure you all will let us know!

8 Days & South X Southwest Wrap

We have only 8 days left until the launch of JSS.net!

So to recap my week at SxSW, a band named Shiny Toy Guns ended up being my favorite. Surprisingly tight, talented and well rehearsed band yet still underground and unique in their sound.

If you have a chance, check them out on Direct TV channel 101 and you can witness all of the bands at the Bat Bar.

Sorry to disappoint but there were no monitor solos last week to listen too.

9 Days to Launch

With only 9 days left until April 3, we are continueing to make final tweaks to the site in preparation for our "doors opening."

10 Days to Launch

So many products! I know JSS's product line has grown substantially over the past few years but I am now realizing by how much.

This week is crunch time to get the product data base populated so all of our great customers can have easier access to all that we have available.

April 3 is the day. Only 10 days away!

Last Day of South X Southwest at DTV Bat Bar

The Bat Bar has seen some interesting bands. Highlights in my opinion have been Ben Harper and Echo & the Bunnymen.

There are still two more bands to mix today. Tinted Window being one of them. The band features members of Smashing Pumpkins and Hanson. My curiosity is certainly peeked.

DTV SXSW, Day 1

Juliette Lewis is among the artists I will be mixing today at the Bat Bar here at the Direct TV broadcast of South X Southwest.

JSS Owner mixing South X Southwest

Tomorrow I will be setting up for South X Southwest in Austin, TX. One of the largest music festivals this side of the Mississippi, I have high hopes for both established and up and coming artists providing entertaining and talented filled sets of good music to mix.

South X Southwest is a music, film, and interactive conference and festival. This year promises to be "One of the best" says Alex, three year veteran staff of SXSW. Compared to the past years the talent level is higher than ever.
